TrendStory's Nano Banana image generator
Nano Banana creates character portraits and scene images inside TrendStory. It edits from reference images — which is what makes characters that stay identical from scene to scene possible.
A Nano Banana image generator is the engine behind every portrait and every scene image in TrendStory. Unlike a plain text-to-image generator, it can edit from a reference image — which is what lets a character keep the same face from one image to the next.
Inside TrendStory, Nano Banana steps in at two points: when you create a character in your library, and when a video generates the images for its scenes. For each scene, TrendStory feeds the model the useful reference images — the character, sometimes the previous scene's setting — to keep real visual consistency.
Nano Banana Pro takes over when you need more resolution, up to 4K. Both versions live side by side in TrendStory: Nano Banana for speed, Nano Banana Pro for maximum quality.
How it works
Describe your character
A name and a description are enough to generate a first portrait with Nano Banana.
Nano Banana generates the image
The portrait is created from your description, or edited from a reference photo.
Reuse it across your videos
The character keeps the same face in every scene generated afterward, thanks to the reference images fed to Nano Banana.
What TrendStory adds to Nano Banana
Consistent character portraits
Nano Banana generates the initial portrait, then reuses it as a reference so the character keeps the same face everywhere.
Editing from an image
You can start from a reference photo: Nano Banana edits instead of reinventing, for a more faithful result.
Scene images consistent with the setting
In Studio mode, Nano Banana can use the previous scene's image as a setting reference, to chain scenes without a visual break.
Nano Banana Pro for high resolution
Need 2K or 4K? Nano Banana Pro takes over on the same characters and settings.
Other image models available
Seedream, GPT and Wan 2.7 are also built into TrendStory, to vary the style depending on the project.
An agent that runs creation by chat
The TrendStory agent can create a character and generate its images via Nano Banana, just by chatting.
Nano Banana or Nano Banana Pro?
Nano Banana is the default model: fast, it generates images at 1K, enough for most portraits and short-video scenes. It's the right choice when you want to move quickly through a batch of characters or scenes.
Nano Banana Pro targets maximum quality, at 1K, 2K or 4K resolution. Useful for a portrait that really needs to impress, or an image meant for more than a vertical video. TrendStory also integrates Seedream (2K/4K), GPT (1K/2K/4K) and Wan 2.7, to vary styles beyond Nano Banana.
